The second decade of the 21st century, as well as the previous one, will definitely be marked by the employment of engineers of various profiles.
Industry 4.0, as a synonym for the fourth industrial revolution, means that the world is changing at an accelerated pace. But even in such a world, the engineering profession is very promising. The basic principles on which the fields of engineering are based, such as mechanics, energy, engines and vehicles, mechanical constructions, production engineering or electrical engineering, still form the foundation of engineering knowledge. Add to that automation, robotics, military industry, energy efficiency, sustainable development, composite materials, bioengineering, mechatronics, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, increasing production efficiency with minimal operating costs, achieving safer working conditions, software engineering, engineering management ... All these are the areas you can pursue after studying at FIN.

PREPARATION FOR THE ENTRANCE EXAM
Regardless of the direction you choose, the entrance exam in mathematics is taken for enrollment at the Faculty of Engineering.
For Mechanical, Military-Industrial and Urban Engineering, as well as Environmental Engineering, a unique entrance exam is taken, which differs from the entrance exam for enrollment in the study program Computer Engineering and Software Engineering.
Every year, FIN organizes free preparatory classes in mathematics, which are held online this year.

STUDY PROGRAMS
The Faculty of Engineering has accredited four study programs in basic academic studies:
Mechanical engineering
The study program has existed since the founding of FIN (60 years) and is aimed at acquiring skills for analyzing engineering problems, using modern engineering tools for modeling, simulation, calculations and design, understanding the principles of construction and design of machines, devices, engineering software and processes.
The entrance exam in mathematics is taken for enrollment, which is common for Mechanical, Military-Industrial, Urban and Environmental Engineering.
The duration of basic studies is 3 years.
After completing the basic studies, he acquires the title of "mechanical engineer".
In the third year of study (enrollment in the fifth semester), you choose one of the eight modules, ie you choose one of the eight narrower areas.

Military Industrial Engineerthing
This is a joint study program of the Faculty of Engineering and the Military Academy.
The entrance exam in mathematics is taken for enrollment, which is common for Mechanical, Military-Industrial, Urban and Environmental Engineering.
The duration of basic studies is 4 years.
The first three years end in Kragujevac, while classes in the 4th year of study take place in Belgrade, at the Military Academy.
Upon completion of basic studies, he received the title of "graduate engineer of industrial engineering - military-industrial engineering"

Urban engineering
The program is aimed at acquiring the skills needed to develop modern infrastructural solutions that enable unhindered local economic development, quality of life for the population and preservation of the environment.
The entrance exam in mathematics is taken for enrollment, which is common for Mechanical, Military-Industrial, Urban and Environmental Engineering.
The duration of basic studies is 4 years.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he received the title of "graduate engineer of urban engineering and regional development".

Computer technology and software engineering
The program is focused on the field of electrical engineering and computing, ie the use of modern software tools, techniques and methodologies for solving problems in engineering practice and designing hardware and software.
The entrance exam in mathematics, which is taken for enrollment in this field, is taken separately, ie it differs from the joint entrance exam for the remaining four fields.
The duration of basic studies is 4 years.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he received the title of "graduate engineer of electrical engineering and computer science".

Environmental Engineering
The study program of basic academic studies Environmental Engineering is a joint study program of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Kragujevac (FIN) and the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, University of Kragujevac (PMF). At the 56th electronic session of the Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of the Republic of Serbia, which was held on April 29, 2021, a decision was made on the accreditation of this study program.
The entrance exam in mathematics is taken for enrollment, which is common for Mechanical, Military-Industrial, Urban and Environmental Engineering.
The duration of basic studies is four years.
After completing his undergraduate studies, he received the title of "Bachelor of Environmental Protection".
