• Preparation of analyzes and studies on the possibilities of savings in the production and consumption of thermal energy.
• Measurements of emissions of combustion products from boiler plants and issuance of official reports.
• Realization of professional lectures on modern energy equipment and possibilities of energy saving.

Available Equipment

The RGE Center has the following equipment of special importance:

• Reference resistance thermometer (range -212 to 1025 oC, accuracy 0.03 oC)
• Combustion product analyzer for measuring CO, NO, NO2, O2, SO2, CO2 emissions, smoke measurement, temperature, pressure measurement (differential)
• Infrared thermometer for non-contact temperature measurement on surfaces in the range from -50 to 500 oC (accuracy 1% of the measured value)

Activities of the Center for RGE

The activities of the Center are closely related to the presented work program. The center is primarily engaged in scientific research and professional work, occasionally and educational, all in the field of production, distribution and consumption of thermal energy. By the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Serbia, the Center for ERO is officially authorized to perform constant, periodic and, if necessary, measurements of emissions of combustion products from boilers and other furnaces.

Achieved Results of the Center for RGE (2002 - 2005)

In the past four years, the Center for RGE has achieved results in the field of certification of energy equipment, especially radiator heaters, measuring the emission of combustion products (Kragujevac, Ćuprija, Užice), measuring and determining the efficiency of boilers (Kragujevac, Jagodina). Within the project of the European Agency for Reconstruction, the Center for RGE participated in the education of unemployed engineers and graduate engineers in the field of heating and air conditioning.
